Mateusz Szczurek, chief economist CEE at ING Financial Markets, told CNBC, "The main problems and channels of transmissions of the sovereign debt crisis on the region are funding and trade. Funding is a long standing problem which sometimes gets more acute when interbank stress rises above a certain threshold."
