Kristina Sandklef, macro economist for Asia at East Capital, told CNBC "I think that what we are watching now is definitely a slowdown but it is basically initiated by the Chinese government it is not like in 2008 when it was part of external shocks due to falling exports, because last year there was inflation in China and tightening measures."
