Helen Zhu, chief China equity strategist at Goldman Sachs, told CNBC, "The expectations in terms of Renminbi appreciation have substantially weakened over the past months, we are starting to see quite significant volatility in terms of our next exports based on the domestic situation and the global demand picture but overall we are still looking for the currency to strengthen not weaken."
