Gary Baker, head of EMEA equity strategy and head of European equity strategy at BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research, told CNBC, "The spotlight shines from region to region, who is slowing down who is speeding up. I think the US data yesterday is a very significant event in terms of putting a floor under what has been a very patchy macro result for the US."
