"If you look equities compared to sovereign debt you are still left with having to go with equities just because you don't want a yield that is below two percent, but I think expectations for returns for the rest of the year have to be a bit more modest now," Daniel Morris, global strategist at JP Morgan Asset Management, told CNBC.
