Liam Halligan, chief economist, Prosperity Capital Management, told CNBC, "BP shareholders should be careful for what they wish for because if BP does end up exiting TNK-BP on commercial grounds, you have to consider this is a third of their reserves and was last year the lion's share of their dividend payment."
