Carlos Caicedo, head of Latin America division at Exclusive Analysis, told CNBC, "Latin America is a mixed bag but if you are going to talk about the bright spots I would mention obviously Brazil, Columbia, Peru and Mexico. In the case of Brazil there is a very strong emerging middle class, the monetary policy has been eased, and Brazil is a relatively closed economy so the domestic market will be the main driver of economic growth."
